The global stage at Boulevard City hosted the official press conference this evening (Thursday) for all fighters participating in the highly anticipated “Fatal Fury” fight night for the undisputed super middleweight world title—one of the flagship events of Riyadh Season this year.
The two-hour conference drew significant global media attention, with main event star, Mexican boxing icon Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, and his formidable Cuban opponent William Scull both taking to the stage ahead of their clash this coming Sunday night.
During the conference, both Canelo and Scull expressed full readiness for the bout, affirming that preparations in Riyadh had been exceptional, both physically and mentally. They stated they had arrived in the Kingdom early to enter intensive training camps, allowing them to gradually adapt to the climate and time zone. Both fighters praised the quality of the training facilities and described their Riyadh experience as unique, expressing great excitement for the fight and strong confidence in delivering a performance that would make their fans proud.
Also present were several key names in the boxing world, including rising Mexican middleweight star Jaime Munguía, his French opponent Bruno Surace, heavyweight powerhouse Martin Bakole of Congo, and his Nigerian rival Efe Ajagba. In addition, seasoned Swedish cruiserweight Badou Jack and his Canadian opponent Ryan Rozicki took part in the event.
